Governing Law
Any claim relating to busyebee, inc.’s web site shall be governed by the laws of the state of Florida without regard to its conflict of law provisions. All policy and guideline terms outlined in this section are in accordance to Florida state law on arts services and in accordance to PayPal policies and terms on ‘virtual/non-tangible services.
General Terms and Conditions applicable to Use of a Web Site.
Overview of our Services
To ensure the quality of the busyebee experience we have set up our terms of service for our mutual benefit. If you violate these rules it will mean you’ve broken the terms of service and this may result in a termination of your account.
Tasks and concierge requests are non-transferable. You cannot sell or give away hours on your plan but you are more than free to buy a plan for your friends, family and loved ones. Your busyebee account is also non-transferable. That means if one person signs up, you cannot transfer ownership of that account to another person.
All busyebee plans are governed by a monthly hour limit by plan type. If these hours are unused by the next billing cycle, the hours will not carry over to the next cycle.
All busyebee plans are recurring, monthly subscriptions, which can be cancelled at any time.
Any agreement or attempted agreement between client and assistant, in connection with a service contract, requiring that payment be made outside of busyebee shall constitute a material breach of this agreement and be subject to cancellation without refund.
Requests
Each request must be submitted by phone or email. Please send your requests individually: this means that each communication you have with your assistant should contain one, defined, task. You’re more than welcome to submit multiple tasks at one time, but we ask that you create a separate email or phone communication for each. This ensure the fastest possible turn around for your request.
Our Clients will often submit requests for things that fall outside the scope of services (for example: requests that are more so projects than tasks or requests that are beyond our typical service offerings). In this case, those requests may be considered under our design or events categories.

For a list of examples tasks that we will and won’t do, please consult the “services ” page or feel free to submit for a quote via the quote button or email. That should give you a good idea of what we’re able to accomplish and what we simply cannot do. Agreeing to this terms of service means you understand and agree to keep your tasks within the scope of our business.
General disclaimer
The site, all third party linked sites, and all services, content and materials provided in the site, are provided to you on an “as is, with all faults” basis, and your use of such sites, services, content and materials is at your own risk. Busyebee disclaims all warranties whether express or implied including without limitation the warranty of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, title, infringement, and quiet enjoyment
Guarantee and Warranty
There is no warranty on any of the information, tasks, or projects your busyebee completes for you. We are simply an organization that acts on behalf of the Client , as an extension of the Client and in an attempt to assist them in achieving their goals. We promise to deliver upon the Clients request in a fashion and means that is consistent with our current capabilities and experience levels. If for any reason we produce any information and/or results that are wrong or inaccurate, though we cannot be held liable either legally or morally, we are committed to resolving any errors as best as possible.
Refunds, Payments & Installment Arrangements
Design & developmental services in which purchases (hosting, web templates, account acquisitions etc) are required in order to initiate the project are not eligible for a refund. Refunds for Administration/Assistant related services are also not refundable unless the outcome and/or result of said that service is determined to be the exclusive fault of bixbee media, its contracted members or partners. In any case in which a refund is considered, the terms and provisions as outlined in busyebee’s “Guarantee and Warranty” clause will also be considered. Services by busyebee, inc. are considered “at risk” services and any payments issued to busyebee, inc. are not guaranteed due these conditions.
Promotional based services, discounted services and/or bundled – packaged services are not eligible for a refund.
Payments, deposits and invoices on installment arrangements for Creative Design Services (logo’s, website’s, landing pages & graphics) must be initiated within 72 hours following the day in which the Customer has been provided with proof of completed work and has communicated acceptance either verbally or in written format. Failure to remit installment payments by 6pm of the said due date will result in a discontinuance of the installment arrangement and the payee/customer will be required to remit the total remaining balance of the project prior to receiving or having access to the final project. Busyebee, inc. retains the right to permanently own any content, intangibles, tangibles and related payments of any project in which the final payment has not been made in accordance with the above mentioned.
Design Projects (Web-Graphic-Creative)
All design related projects (web/graphic/creative) are required to be paid in full prior to our beginning the project if the project cost or fee is $75 or less. All design related projects $76 or over require a deposit of half the total over-all fee/cost prior to our beginning work on the project. The remaining balance is to be paid once the project is completed. Website design projects will not be visible to the online public or set to ‘live” until all remaining balances and/or invoices have been paid.
Pre-launch policy: Any website that is online and visible to the search engine community is considered live and for gain. In the event that a request to set a site live prior to final edits and design applications are completed is received, the client/customer will be required to reconcile (pay) on the final invoice as the website will be considered online and in ” for gain” status.
Post production site launch revisionary period: Busyebee, Inc. allows for a period (window) of and not to exceed three weeks for any post site- launch minor editing applications.
Revisions- Each revision consists of 60 minutes of actual project work-time. Free project revisions if provided by busyebee, Inc to a client are limited to two revisions over-all at a total maximum of 120 minutes of actual project work-time. Revision/edit requests that exceed either the paid revision or free revision limitations are billed/invoiced separately.
Renewals: All service renewals to include website hosting automatically renew the following year with an option to renew the years following.
Refunds-Refunds for expenses purchased by bixbee media. for web design services such as templates, themes, plug-in’s or other in addition to any design/development time already applied to a project previously outlined in an agreement or signed proposal cannot be refunded. These terms and agreements are bound and supported by governing web-design laws, paypal and applicable banking institutions under virtual services categories. Refunds cannot be issued on projects in which the customer or client has confirmed acceptance or ownership and received credentials to the respective platform or platforms in which the project is housed.
Minor edits & post project maintenance: Minor edits as specified by busyebee, Inc are defined as written content text changes, image replacements or theme related adjustments that require no more than fifteen minutes of actual project work-time per 24 hours. Any post design production maintenance requests that exceed fifteen minutes per 24 hours are considered add-on tasks/projects and will be billed/invoiced separately.
Provided Platform: By definition, a provided platform is an existing web hosting account (bluehost, godaddy, etc) platform in which the client provides to busyebee, Inc. for web design/development purposes. In the instance of a provided platform project, busyebee, Inc. will assume temporary management and control of said platform until project completion. The purpose of this process is to minimize backend activity-developmental conflict and to secure content entitlement until the projects conclusion.
Design & Development Time Allotment: All of our web design plan options include an incremental allotment of hours for design and development. Associated price points are subject to change. Current allotments:
busyebee, Inc. reserves the right to adjust their fee schedules at anytime. Our fee schedules are rated and determined based on our level of technical ability and progressive experience. Design projects are currently based on a rate of $55 per hour.
Cancellation
Canceling your plan with busyebee is allowed. Busyebee understands that the nature of peoples lifestyles and changes within them may constitute a change in demand for our services. . If you’ve signed up through Paypal you can cancel through Paypal. If you’ve signed up via credit card just email your assistant and ask us to cancel your account. Credits for unused time or hours cannot be applied. However, our valued Clients can always use their remaining hours as long as they are used prior to the 1st of the following month in which the account was cancelled.
Termination of Service
Busyebee reserves the right to terminate the service or account of a busyebee client at any time and for any reason. Though our organization strives to maintain the absolute best in relations when it comes to our clients, there may be instances in which termination can apply. Examples are:
Non-solicit Clause
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, I agree that during my membership and for a period of twelve (12) months immediately following the termination of my relationship with the company for any reason, whether voluntary or involuntary, with or without cause, I will not directly or indirectly solicit any of the Company’s employees to leave their employment at the Company. Should a client’s solicitations be responsible for an employee leaving the company, reserves the right to assess a one-time fee equivalent to one year of client’s monthly subscription to busyebee.

Sharing sensitive information with your busyebee.
We support the sharing of credit cards, passwords and other sensitive data when you work with a dedicated busyebee through our partnership with LastPass. Using LastPass’ advanced encryption technology and cloud-based data storage, your assistant is able to securely store your sensitive data and use it to access an account, make a purchase, or contact a third party on your behalf.

LastPass strongly believes in using local encryption, and locally created one way salted hashes to provide you with the best of both worlds for your sensitive information: Complete security, while still providing online accessibility and syncing capabilities. Each busyebee signs a confidentiality agreement with busyebee to protect the privacy of every client. We believe that the cornerstone to any successful relationship is trust—this is why we take security and discretion so seriously and ensure that each busyebee knows how to properly store and handle their clients’ sensitive data.
For your safety we require written confirmation on all purchases over $500 and we restrict purchases over $2500 USD. This means if you need your busyebee to purchase a flight for over $500 they will first have to send back a summary of the purchase. Once buseybee receives confirmation of this summary (this can be as simple as “okay”) they can then make the purchase. We realize this may slightly lengthen the booking process, but we do so to protect you from small oversights that can lead to costly mistakes.
